The Test Which Went Down The Drain!

This morning I told my mom

That I couldn’t go to school

But the reason was that I had a History test

So I cried sitting like a fool!

My mom as clever as herself

Declined my plight with a smirk

And I cried out loud in dismay

As if it was an ordinary quirk!

After a hard morning of convincing

And telling her I had fever and cold

She finally did agree

And I sprang up happily cajoled!

But to my dismay I soon learnt

The test had been a strain

So it had lastly been cancelled

Thus I sat with my hand on my brain!

All the morning’s hard work was useless

So I finally went to school once again

But I was unprepared and unlucky

As I had the test which went down the drain!

Aww, sorry about your test Meghna...I got back a horrible math test today, so I can relate :D. The horrible thing is that I thought I'd done well, though, and just made stupid calculation errors. At least it gave you inspiration for a nice poem :). I tagged you in my meme entry like you asked. Thanks for your comments, I'd really like to see some of your drawings sometime :).

Pallav
