The Most Wanted Criminal!

“Hahaha”, I laughed loudly in a sinister manner. The laugh was not a good old laugh like mine but a menacing criminal’s laugh. My attire too wasn’t like me at all. A black dress and a black automatic revolver occupied my hand. I looked no less than a criminal myself! And my criminal list was endless.

Twenty-four murders, eighty-two robberies and looting fifty-six banks was a small part of the list. Oh O.K, I was just kidding! I couldn’t have the courage to do so much but of course! I did something which converted me into a criminal and put my poster on the Most Wanted list at the police station!!

My first criminal act was to loot all the candy stores in town! Yeah! I robbed all of them and now I live in an abode almost made of nothing but candies. I also eat nothing except candies and chocolates. Wow! What a life I have. This evil act made the local police fuming and their jeep sirens were ringing loudly on each street in search of……. who else?.....Meghna - The Kid Criminal!

Their rage and fury was amusing to me. Thus I decided to irritate them much more by doing some more bad deeds. This time I did nothing less than going with my gang and threatening the school teachers and principals! We were armed with revolvers and large knives. We made use of these weapons by aiming them at the teachers and telling them not to burden the children with their studies.

We also threatened them to remove tests and exams from the school curriculum and let the children play to their hearts content! If they refused to listen to me I’d break the lavish things in their houses and rob them off their money.

I became a hero for the children in this manner but still remained a criminal in the police eyes! This was more amusing and entertaining than any video game in the world. For further pleasure I robbed some of the local pricey banks and distributed the money among the poor. I became their Robin Hood; but a thief and big time robber for the police!

As I didn’t have much work but occasional looting and threatening, I robbed most of the books from the Library so that I didn’t have to share the pleasure of reading them with anyone else! I became much more selfish in this way! This resulted in adding more robberies in my criminal list.

But one day, my life changed. One of my fellow gang members put a suggestion before me of joining politics and becoming a good ”renowned" figure to all.

I liked this idea and after some sheer hard work, I soon became the mayor of my city. Thus the big time criminal and the famous poster on the most wanted list became a politician and at last a mayor! This is how a country leads to corruption I believe. Vote for the right man and lead the country on the right path!

So, I think I’ve written much more than enough to put myself in your bad thoughts. But this is an imagination as I’d never dream of doing something so wicked!

Dear Meghna,

"R.K. Rowling In The Making"

This is what Don Williams wrote about you in his blog at http://my2cents4theday.blogspot.com/2007/11/next-jk-rowlings-blog-4-day-presents.html
You must have read it.

I fully agree with him. What a wonderful story you've written and this itself is a testimony to that.

Your imagination is boundless. I've no further words to say except that you continue your writing so that we all get amused!!

Hi Meghna,
Great story. It makes the reader think. For example:
What if everyone woke up one day and decided to say to the politicians in the government, 'You have done a fine job on the whole, but we don't need you any longer. We can handle things for ourselves from now on, thank you.'
Do think we would be happier? Or not?

Meghna

Hi Peterpie,
Thank you for the great complements.
Yes I've just read what Don Williams has said in his blog about me, which is wonderful. I think he has really put many kind words. I'm grateful to him.
I appreciate your appreciation. Thanks.

Hi Meghna! Great story! Keep writing...
Congrats!

I am a lover of children's literature

Dear Meghna, after robing all the candy stores, all the banks, threatening the teachers and then becoming mayor, well...... I wonder? How long did your parents punish you for?

At least for a day I hope? LoL

Very nice story Meghna. My best advice to you is to write, write, write, write and then, when your finished writing..... write some more! We writers need all the practice we can get.

Some day, when your rich and famous, please: remember not to forget me, ok? I might want to borrow a couple of million dollars from you!

Meghna

Dear amber,
Thank you. I know that if you try a little bit, you too can come up with great stories.
See you!

Meghna

Hi Don,
That was really sweet of you. I'm grateful to you for the post you wrote abut me at your blog! I luckily didn't get a punishment from my parents. Lucky me! :D

I'll certainly continue writing and try to enhance and develop my writing skills as much as possible.
Thanks for these kind words!

Hi Deron,
I'm doing pretty well these days with being encouraged and appreciated so much I'm on top of cloud nine! I'll certainly keep commenting on your blog. Thanks for this comment!

Hi ess47,
I'm glad you went into the depth of the story and also shared your thoughts with me. Many a thanks to you! Nice example by the way! I would certainly be much happier if that happens but of course! Our country should be independent but too much of it can be harmful. So I suppose there should be leaders and politicians who should be appointed on the basis of merit instead of power!

Hey, it's great to see fiction out in the blogging community. Great story. If you get a chance, please take a look at mine and comment. http://theuserpool.squarespace.com

And let me know what fiction and blogging circles/forums you participate in, I need to get more involved with writers who are doing similar work...
