Pen Spinning- A New Hobby
Pen spinning is much more than a hobby in
A sixteen year old high school student, Ryuki Omura, emerged as the champion of the recently concluded contest organized by PSA of Japan. He was chosen along with 16 other finalists from a 276 videos to show his talent in
So, looks like the young brigade it out on the toll once again! If not in major sports (actually they have earned reputation in many of them too) many teenagers like Omura, are doing their parents, friends and nation proud by actively participating in these subsided competitions.
And now I take your leave…..Little finger to other fingers, tossing it…Ahhhh! I’ve been trying for an hour but it’s all fruitless…Looks like I have got to try even harder! Bye……

Hi Abhinash,
Another strange hobby that you come up with! Mobile spining...wow! I'm sure my dad won't ever let me do that ....he...he...Best wishes for that! :)
Thanks for the add and I'm glad you liked my place! I actually don't mind that question because it has now become too regular a question to answer! I'm really 13 now but I feel like a granny already giving answers to many such queries! :D

Good. I wish you become master in this. Now I remember one of my friends doing this well in my school days.
Well cool. :)
Hi Jaggu,
Thanks for the best wishes and I've been trying hard but now I've abandoned it as it has been fruitless! I hope to get hold of that friend and learn something from him :)

Hi Dreams,
Thanks for dropping by here too! I'm 13 now, so you are a bit wrong :P
Hi Raaji,
I didn't know too, until I read about it! :D
I never did pen spinning and don’t know will I able to do, let me try. For many after out of schools and collages is rare to find with pen, where everything is in digital.
I remember I used to do this a lot in high school. It formed part of cheerleading practice too. :D But I was not that good at pen spinning. It's a great activity when one is bored in class. :D
Hi Morinn,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I will certainly try to master the art, especially when I'm bored with my studies. Hope you do well too :P
Hi Jeevan,
Hope you do try and do well. I agree, with so much digitalization, it's only the students who indulge in such pastimes! The world has changed, eh? :p
weird Japanese..
my tries in school days were useless..
after reading this post, i tried my pen at the desk.. and even this pen seems to hate me :)
Hi Sandeep,
He...he...Looks like you weren't really lucky with the pen :D
Hey, dont give up. You try it and become master..:). I really dont remember that friend. I have a vague idea.:)
Hi Megnak,
I think I am good at pen spinning until now. Even my boss is amazed how I do it. I have been addicted to it since I was 17. During practice, we put our hands outside the window of our classroom. So if the pen will fall, you got to buy a new pen.
By the way, you can follow me now at Twitter. But I use pandong as my username coz guardianangel is already taken.
See you there.
Hi Jaggu,
Hey...Ive already given up cause its too hard for me:0
Hope you get in touch with that friend soon and master the trick....please teach me too, then :D
Hi Angel,
Wow! Glad to find one person who can do it....DO teach me too!
I'm glad you joined in there! I'll add you as friend :P
Wow I think pen spinning is pretty much a talent. Its too hard and too thin to be spinning around perfectly with a human beings non-steady 5 fingered hand!
But I'll tell you what, if it becomes popular some day and people really entice them selves into 'pen spinning' challenges, then it will be world wide known!!!!!
@ EP- you are absolutely correct...i've been trying it long but haven't succeeded. Dunno how otrs do it :)
Can u do it too???
