Don’t Grow Long Hair!

'Bald Is Beautiful' No, there is no such saying! Then why? Because I have to ask you a simple question.

Have any of you got long, silky hair? Why this sudden interest in hair, you might ask?

Imagine yourself with long, good hair. You have grown this hair after hard work of around a decade. You are then flaunting your beauty while walking on the street back home.

Suddenly, a motorcyclist whizzing by, stops besides you. He takes out a knife/scissors and LOL! Cuts all your hair making you almost bald in a few minutes!

This is exactly what a lady at Rio De Janeiro in Brazil experienced. According to reports, a lady who had long hair (more than four feet) which she had been trying to grow since 20 years was walking on the street while returning home from church.

Two men on a motorcycle stopped by, took out a machete and cut her hair! Destroying all her hard work in minutes and leaving her with less than shoulder length hair!!

Strange, eh? Now I do not know if they too were bald or if they were going to use that hair to make wigs which could be sold at $555. All I can say is, if you have long hair, you are lucky not to be in Brazil!

Nikita: I had long hair when at secondary, but cut it when I was 15 due to headaches I got... the hairdresser didn't want to cut it, refused and said it was too beautiful and I had to beg her! lol! she then wanted to pay me to use my hair for a wig!! and I wasn't bothered and said HAVE IT for FREE... :)) I just wanted to get rid of it...but, must say... i regret it a few months later... long hair is easy to keep tidy, especially when you are a student...; January 27, 2008 at 4:45 PM

Once my mum cut my hair! It was really long. I didn't want to, but i had to or my hair would fall out because when you are 10, you have to cut your hair!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Your hair certainly must have been a sight, the hairdresser refusing to cut it and then paying you to use it as a wig!
